Our EPA-Registered, Hospital Disinfectant Cleaner Just Got In!

by Dallas Maids - March 30, 2020

Fortunately I decided to call in and check the status of our order of VitalOxide last week. Their representative had informed me they were having supply issues and we’d have to wait for another two weeks for their disinfectant!

I immediately started scouring other sources for VitalOxide. And Amazon came to the rescue where there were a few gallons left. I immediately ordered and got the gallons a few days later. Whew!

Glad I double checked our order because a couple of days later we received the following email from VitalSolutions:

The COVID-19 crisis has our nation in new uncharted waters. The changes to what is “usual” in our daily lives must continue to adapt as this threat is playing out in our country and around the world. We are all in this together, and we here at Vital Solutions will do our part.

Up till now our “usual” turnaround time has been 24 hours on web orders. Due to an unprecedented demand for Vital Oxide, we are currently backordered on inventory and have had to make some difficult decisions. Rather than listing “out of stock” on our site, we elected to take “pre-orders” that we will fill as soon as possible. We have greatly increased our production, yet it may be several more weeks before we can process these orders.

We know Vital Oxide is an important tool in this fight and we are doing our best to catch up and return to our “usual” order fulfillment.

Right now, we ask for your understanding during this time of great need and we plan to be here for you and your loved ones for years to come.

How Dallas Maids will Use VitalOxide for Cleaning

With the VitalOxide in, we are now offering a disinfection clean extra free of charge for our customers until the pandemic passes. This professional-grade, EPA-registered hospital disinfectant kills 99.999% of corona-family viruses!

Here are Dallas Maids’ instructions for our cleaners and what surfaces must be disinfected.

Instructions for Using VitalOxide’s Disinfectant:

  1. Pre-clean high-touched surface.
  2. Spray VitalOxide on surface and leave wet for 10 minutes.
  3. After 10 minutes, clean surface.

High-Touched Surfaces That Must be Disinfected:

  • Faucets
  • Counters
  • Toilet seats
  • Door handles
  • Light switches
  • Chair arms
  • Remote controls
  • Railings

Detailed Instructions from VitalOxide for Using Their Disinfectant:

Make sure to wipe the surfers first of any dirt then spray with Disinfectant then wipe with damp cloth.

Follow these instructions for disinfecting pre-cleaned, hard, non-porous surfaces such as glass, plastic, painted wood, laminate, chrome, stainless steel, polyurethane coated hardwood floors, glazed ceramic tile, sealed concrete, and linoleum floors, exterior of appliances, bed frames, cabinet handles, wheelchairs, child car seats, counters, cribs, doorknobs, tables, tubs, exterior toilet surfaces, faucet handles, handrails, jungle gyms, keyboards, light switch covers, patio furniture, showers, sinks, stovetops, telephones, toys, walls, and waste containers.

Vital Oxide must come in contact with the contaminant to effectively disinfectant the surface. Remove any surface barrier between Vital Oxide and the contaminant such as dirt, grime, or organic matter by cleaning before the disinfection application. You may use Vital Oxide for this pre-cleaning step.

To disinfect pre-cleaned, hard, non-porous surfaces, apply Vital Oxide full-strength (undiluted), wetting thoroughly with spray, sponge, mop, or by immersion in solution. Allow surfaces to remain wet for 5 minutes or 10 minutes for virus inactivation (refer to the viruses table for contact times). Allow surfaces to remain wet for 10 minutes for bacterial disinfection. For immersion, replace solution daily, or more frequently if it becomes significantly soiled or diluted.
